A Lifetime of Building, Now in Williams

A Lifetime of Building, Now in Williams
By Wild West Handyman ~ Shan Gilbreath

I’ve worked in the construction industry for as long as I can remember. From the early days of crawling through attics to install satellite and cable systems, to full-scale renovations and repairs, I’ve had a tool in my hand most of my life. And truth be told, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My roots in this trade run deep. My grandfather worked for Del Webb on the original Sun City project—back when big dreams were poured into concrete foundations. My father followed suit, making a living in construction. Naturally, I found myself walking the same path, learning by doing, fixing by understanding, and building by heart.

Williams has always felt like home. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, drawn in by the small-town charm, the quiet strength of the people, and the open skies that stretch forever. I bought property here back in 1989, and after retiring a couple of years ago, I finally made the move full time.

Now, I’m here for good—and I’m not one to sit still. Wild West Handyman is more than a name. It’s my way of staying connected to the work I love while giving back to a town that’s always meant something special to me. Whether it’s patching drywall, installing fixtures, fixing fences, or tackling odd jobs, I bring decades of experience and a genuine love for what I do.

My only wish now is to stay busy helping my neighbors and keeping this town running strong, one repair at a time.

If you’re in the Williams area and need a reliable handyman who’s as local as they come, give me a shout. Let’s build something better—together.
