Our $199 Whole-Home Smoke & CO Detector Checkup includes service for up to 6 smoke and/or carbon monoxide detectors:
- Test each detector
- Clean accessible dust and debris
- Replace standard batteries as needed
- Check detector age and condition
- Check mounting and placement
- Secure loose detectors
- Install customer-provided replacement detectors when needed
- Access detectors on high or vaulted ceilings
- Test everything before we leave
- Clean up our work area

How Old Are Your Smoke Detectors?
Most people don’t know.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors don’t last forever. Even if the test button still works, an older detector may be due for replacement.
We’ll check the dates and condition of your existing detectors and let you know if we find anything that should be replaced.
If you already have replacement detectors sitting around waiting to be installed, we’ll take care of those too.
Don’t Forget Carbon Monoxide
As temperatures drop in Northern Arizona, furnaces, fireplaces, wood stoves and other heating equipment start getting used again.
That makes fall a great time to check your home’s carbon monoxide detectors along with your smoke detectors.
If your home doesn’t have CO detectors, we’ll let you know and can help you get them installed.

Have High Ceilings? We’ll Bring the Ladder.
Sometimes changing a smoke detector battery isn’t difficult.
Getting to it is.
If you’ve got smoke detectors on vaulted or high ceilings, don’t drag out a ladder and climb up there yourself.
We’ll bring the ladders and tools, get to those hard-to-reach detectors, service them, test them, and clean up when we’re finished.
Need a New Detector?
If we find an old, damaged, expired, or non-working detector, we’ll let you know.
If you already have the replacement, we’ll install it as part of the service.
If you don’t have one, we can provide replacement smoke or carbon monoxide detectors for an additional charge.
We’ll always discuss any additional cost with you first.
